    Using the built-in light You can use the built-in light to suit your shooting situation. The recommended distance between the subject and camcorder is about 1.5 m (5 feet). Press LIGHT repeatedly, until the indicator appears on the screen while your camcorder is in CAMERA mode.
  • Page 63 Using the built-in light CAUTION Be careful not to touch the lighting section, because the plastic window and surrounding surfaces are hot while the light is on. It remains hot for a while after the light is turned off. DANGER Not to be handled by children.

    •When you use the conversion lens (optional), the built-in light is blocked and may not illuminate the subject properly. Replacing the bulb Use the Sony XB-3D halogen lamp (optional). The supplied halogen lamp is not commercially available. Purchase the Sony XB-3D halogen lamp.
