You can connect a television set to the video-out jack on the computer.
Follow the steps below.
1. Connect the TV adaptor cable's mini-jack to the video-out jack on the
computer.
2. Connect the TV adaptor cable's RCA jack to the RCA jack on the TV.
You can use the hotkeys Fn + F5 to change the display device. Refer to
Chapter 5, The Keyboard.
The LCD/TV setting can be selected only when the computer is in dual
controller mode.
To set this mode, follow the steps below.
Click Start, point to Settings and click Control Panel.
Double-click the Display icon to open the Display Properties
window.
Click the Settings tab and click the Advanced button.
Click the S3 DuoView+ tab and in the Controller Options box
select Dual controller.
If a television is connected to the computer, set the TV type in Display
Properties. Follow the steps below.
Click Start, point to Settings and click Control Panel.
Double-click the Display icon to open the Display Properties window.
Click the Settings tab and click the Advanced button.
Click the S3 DuoView+ tab and in the TV Settings box select the
format that your TV supports.
