    SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION Environmental requirements Use the printer in a place which is adequately ventilated. A slight odor is generated when the printed articles are being fixed by heat. Installation Setting up and moving of the printer should only be carried out by a qualified technician. The printer machine weighs 120 kg (265 lb).

    Before Using Your Printer for the First Time 1-1. Be sure to read the following notes before using the printer Keep in mind the following points before using the printer: Precautions for proper use  Please keep the printer powered on the printer for 24 hours a day. Even when the printer is placed in standby mode, it performs such maintenance as white ink circulation inside the main unit automatically to prevent sedimentation of the white ink.

About pretreatment  If a T-shirt to which the pretreatment is applied is coated with only color inks, its stains tend to be wiped off by washing.

Details of the print head GTX-4 incorporates the latest print head technology available to compound ink-jet printers, significantly improving the printout speed and printing quality by adopting high-density print nozzles.

The film is loosely attached to allow it to expand outward corresponding to the increase of pressure and relax inward when the pressure decreases due to the dynamic pressure variation within the ink supply tube, thus serving to buffer the pressure.

The quantity of the dissolved air changes depending on the pressure applied. Under high pressure conditions, the quantity of saturated air content increases, causing more air to dissolve into the ink. When the pressure decreases, the quantity of saturated air content is reduced to cause the air to escape from within the fluid.

    If printers equipped with white ink are neglected over prolonged periods of time, the print head may dry up and cause the nozzles to clog. GTX-4 incorporates the closure cleaning functionality as an attempt to resolve this issue. Closure cleaning is a process to replace the ink content of the white-side cap with cleaning solution. Closure cleaning is initiated when the printer is left idle for a certain duration after the completion of the printing, or when the printer is shutdown by pressing the Power switch.
