    2. INSTALLATION PROCEDURE EO18-13005 2.1 CONECTING THE TRST-A10 TO THE POS TERMINAL INSTALLATION PROCEDURE WARNING! 1. Turn the POS terminal OFF before connecting the TRST-A10 printer. 2. Plug the TRST-A10 power cord into the AC outlet on the wall for power supply. Do not obtain the AC power from the AC outlet of the POS terminal such as ST-A10, ST-7000, etc., because the rush current at the TRST-A10 power on may exceed the rating of the power switch of the POS terminal.

Under-specified solenoid may cause a machine failure. 2. The output current of the drawer should not exceed 0.8A, as there is a risk of a machine failure.

    3. DISASSEMBLY AND REASSEMBLY EO18-13005 3.3 REASSEMBLE PROCEDURE Gently remove the wire from the wire holder before removing the Power Switch Block. Slide the Power switch Block in the direction shown. The Power Switch Block can then be removed from the Cover Bottom. Wire removed Turn the Cover Bottom around with the base facing upwards and release the Cable Holder by removing a 3X8 p-tite screw.

    4. DIP SWITCH FUNCTION EO18-13005 4.1 DIP SWITCH SETTINGS DIP SWITCH FUNCTION DIP SWITCH SETTINGS The DIP switches are located on the PC board at the bottom of the printer. They are used to set the RS-232C parameters as shown in the following tables. The switches are used to put the printer into various modes for printer configuration set up.

When in Datascope Mode the printer receives all communications, but instead of executing the commands it prints them out on receipt paper as hexadecimal numbers in the order received.     5. SELF TEST PRINT EO18-13005 5.1 SELF TEST SELF TEST PRINT SELF TEST To perform the printer self test, use the Mfg Adjustment menu feature. This feature prints instructions on the receipt for selecting any type of print pattern needed. CAUTION! Be extremely careful when changing any of the printer settings to avoid changing other settings that might affect the performance of the printer.

The printer prints the resident character set in standard pitch continuously. When Rolling ASCII Print (Rcpt) is selected, printer prints the following menu.
