7. TEST OPERATION
7-1. Procedure and Summary of Test Operation
A test operation is carried out with the following procedure. When problems or a trouble occurs at any step,
remove the causes of the problem or trouble referring to "8 TROUBLESHOOTING."
Checks before test operation
Check whether the
main power supply is
turned on or not.
Set up the addresses.
Set up the communication
method.
FS unit Address setting
Fan Mode
Inspection mode
Test operation

Check basic items, mainly the installation work.
Be sure to enter the check results in checklist 1 and 2.
This check is done after the power has been turned on.
Check that the refrigerant circuit system is turned on normally.
Start the address setup in the outdoor/indoor units.
Note: Operation does not start simply by powering-on.
A communication method is set up.
Note: Do not perform this setup before an indoor unit
address setup.
Carry out Fan mode. Check whether there is air
blowing out of indoor unit.
If there is at least 1 Flow Selector unit carry out
detailed inspection mode to look for existing
miswiring and incorrect setup.
Carry out a test operation. Check air blowing and
cooling/heating operation in the indoor unit.
