Recording on a Tape

¢ Use deck B (on your right
hand side) for recording.
¢ Refer to "Dubbing a Tape"
(page 8) to make a copy of
the tape.
Note
When deck B is recording or in
recording pause, all buttons on deck
A do not work.

Break out the record-protect
tab(s) (see page 10).

Turn on the amplifier and play the program source you want to
record.
Press POWER, and then press & and
insert a cassette into deck B.
With the side you want to
record facing you

Press REC @.
"C>" lights up for recording on the side facing you. If it doesn't,
press E> once.
Turn REC LEVEL to adjust the recording level.
For type | or
After you've done the adjustments, stop
type Il tape
playing the program source.
Turn REC LEVEL so that the peak level
meters reach the recommended level for
the corresponding tape type.
For type IV tape
Press PAUSE Hl or C=.
Recording starts.
