If there are damaged or missing screws, perform Step 9. If there are no damaged
or missing screws, perform Step 10.
Step 9
Locate screws and system board stand-off and inspect for damage that may have
been caused by these items.
If damage is found in relation to these items, perform Step 10. If no damage is
found, perform Step 11.
Step 10
(A) Replace the screws and/or repair or replace the damaged FRU (refer to Chapter
4). (B) Perform Step 11.
Step 11
Measure to determine if FRU voltages are within specification.
If FRU voltages are within specification, perform Step 12. If these voltages are not
within specification, perform the Power Supply Troubleshooting Process.
Step 12
(A) Inspect all cables, connectors, and jumpers for damage and loose connections.
(B) Securely reconnect all loose connections. (C) Replace damaged cables,
connectors, and jumpers as necessary (refer to section 4.1.3.). (D) Inspect ICs for
bent or broken pins. (E) Replace damaged ICs as necessary. (F) Perform Step 13.
