1. UNPACKING EO18-33032 1.1 PROCEDURE UNPACKING 1.1 Procedure Open the carton. Unpack the accessories from the carton. Unpack the printer. B-FP3D NOTE: Keep the carton and pad for future transportation of the printer. 1.2 Checks Check for damage or scratches on the machine. Confirm that none of the accessories are missing.

Thermal Head Assembly 13) Detach some of the connectors from the Main PCB. 14) Turn the Function Unit upside-down and push the hook in the direction of the arrow and lift the Battery terminal assembly while carefully removing the different connectors attached to the CPU PC Board.

For the GH model, attach the supplied sheet (FP3D-PCB-SHEET) in the following order after replacing the CPU PC Board.

Make sure that the upper and lower sensors are fit in position and in correct orientation, as shown in the pictures below 2. Ensure correct fitting for the sensor cover and the paper guide outlet to ensure that there is no gap during screwing and re-assembly.

(Refer to Section 2.1 Replacing the CPU PC Board.) 2) Pull slightly the LCD unit and then remove the flex cable from the CPU PC Board. 2. MAJOR UNIT REPLACEMENT EO18-33032 2.2 Replacing the LCD Unit 4) After replacing the LCD unit, perform an LCD check in the system mode and make sure none of dots are missing. Regarding the procedures for the LCD check, refer to Section 7.2.5 in the System Mode Manual. If the LCD does not display clearly, refer to Section 7.2.5 in the System Mode Manual and perform an LCD density setting.

2. MAJOR UNIT REPLACEMENT EO18-33032 2.5 Replacing the Print Head 4) Push the right side of the Thermal head slightly to dislodge it from the hook. After it is dislodged, pull it to the right. Be sure to use clean gloves when removing the Thermal head assembly.

Be sure to completely remove the residual glue, too. 6) Replace the Print Head with a new one, then perform reassembly in the reverse order of removal. For the GH model, attach a new adhesive sheet to the Thermal head assembly in the following order.

Place the 3 springs on the center area as shown in the picture below. Put the middle hook on top of the spring located on the middle.

MAJOR UNIT REPLACEMENT EO18-33032 (Revision Date: Jul., 2019) 2.12 Replacing the Wifi Module 2.12.1 Country/Region Code Switching Method for WiFi Module for B-FP3D-GH52 The portable printer B-FP3D-GH52 series has 2.4GHz or 5GHz wireless LAN module. To activate the wireless LAN function and select/set the country/region code, use the utility tool BCP Setting Tool (V001.XXX).
