STEP 1
First of all turn off the laptop and unplug the AC adapter.
Unlock and remove the laptop battery.
STEP 2
Loosen two screws securing the memory cover and hard drive
cover.
Lift up and remove both covers.
STEP 3
Under the memory cover you'll find two memory modules. I
will leave both memory modules connected to the
motherboard.

  • Page 3 1/2/2019 Toshiba Satellite L775 L775D L770 L770D disassembly STEP 8 Carefully lift up the upper side of the keyboard and turn it upside down on the palmrest. STEP 9 Now you can access the keyboard cable connector. In order to release the cable you'll have to unlock the connector first.

  • Page 5 1/2/2019 Toshiba Satellite L775 L775D L770 L770D disassembly STEP 16 After the connect is unlocked you can pull the touchpad cable. STEP 17 Unplug the speaker cable from the motherboard. STEP 18 Now start separating the palmrest assembly from the laptop base.
