SYSTEM CONTROL ADJUSTMENT
1. Battery down adjustment (FC-66 board)
This adjustment specifies the battery end voltage. If disordered, the
battery service life will be shortened, or images will be deformed at
the battery end.

Connection:
1)
Connect the regulated power supply and a digital voltmeter as
shown in Fig. 5-1-18.

Adjustment procedure:
1)
Connect the adjustment remote commaner (RM-95) via CPC-
9 jig.
2)
Adjust the output voltage of regulated power supply so that the
digital voltmeter indicates 6.1 ± 0.1 Vdc.
Note1: Change over the HOLD switch on the adjustment remote
commander to the ADJ position immediately after the
DC power was supplied.
3)
Insert a floppy disk (already formatted), and select the
CAMERA RECORD mode.
4)
Set data: 01 to page: 0, address: 01.
5)
Adjust the output voltage of regulated power supply so that the
digital voltmeter indicates 5.80 ± 0.01 Vdc.
6)
Read the displayed data (Dref) on page: 3, address: 0D.
7)
Set the read data (Dref) to page: F, address: 18, and press the
PAUSE button on the adjustment remote commander.
8)
Convert Dref into decimal number to get Dref'.

9)
Calculate the adjustment data (decimal numbers) with the
following formulas (calculate decimal numbers), and convert
them into hexadecimal numbers, then set them to respective
adjustment addresses.

remote commander after setting each data.
10) Set data: 00 to page: 0, address: 01.
2. Battery down check
Connection:
1)
Connect same as "battery down adjustment".
Adjustment procedure:
1)
Adjust the output voltage of the regulated power supply so that
the digital voltmeter indicates 6.10 ± 0.1 Vdc.
2)
Insert a floppy disk and enter the camera recording mode. (CAM
REC)
3)
Adjust the output voltage of regulated power supply so that the
digital voltmeter indicates 6.08 ± 0.01 Vdc.
4)
Confirm that a battery mark on the LCD screen blinks at 0.8
Hz.
5)
Adjust the output voltage of regulated power supply so that the
digital voltmeter indicates 5.77 ± 0.01 Vdc.
6)
Confirm that a battery mark on the LCD screen blinks at 3.2
Hz, then the power is turned off.
